1. Purchase & Redemption
- Scope: Gift certificates are valid for all professional skincare treatments, injectables, and retail products offered at Hometown Aesthetics & Skin Health.
- Redemption: Certificates must be presented at the time of check-out (digital or physical).
- Booking: A gift certificate does not waive our standard Cancellation or No-Show Policy. If a client fails to show for a scheduled appointment, the certificate may be charged the applicable cancellation fee.
2. Expiration & Fees
- Expiration: In accordance with Kansas law and federal standards, funds on your gift certificate do not expire for 5 years from the date of purchase.
- Fees: We do not charge inactivity or "maintenance" fees. Every dollar you put on a certificate stays there until you use it.
- Promotional Certificates: Any certificates issued as a "bonus" (e.g., Buy $100, Get $20) may have a shorter expiration date as clearly stated on the promotional material.
3. Refunds & Cash Value
- Non-Refundable: Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Remaining Balances: If a service cost is less than the value of the certificate, the remaining balance will be kept on your account for future use.
- Gratuity: Gift certificates may be used to cover gratuity for your provider if specified by the guest at checkout.
4. Lost or Stolen Certificates
- Hometown Aesthetics & Skin Health is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorized use of certificates.
- However, because we value our local Wamego community, if your certificate was registered to your client profile in our system at the time of purchase, we may be able to verify and recover your balance.
5. Health & Suitability
- Consultation Required: Redemption of a gift certificate for specific medical-grade treatments (e.g., neurotoxins or fillers) is subject to a consultation to ensure the treatment is safe and appropriate for the recipient.
- If a recipient is not a candidate for a specific service, the certificate value may be applied toward any other product or service.
